Among locals, Antwerp is known as 'de Koekenstad', which literally translates as 'The City of Cookies'. The annual project Antwerpen Koekenstad tells the story of Antwerp's remarkably rich history in biscuit and chocolate manufacturing.
The 2015 edition highlighted the history of De Beukelaer Biscuits, once one of the world's largest manufacturers of chocolate and biscuits, that operated from Antwerp.
I designed a book, a tram, flags and banners, exhibition panels, brochures and leaflets, posters, vouchers, and other small brand collateral.
